Route 117 was right outside Verdanturf. Jessie brought out her Pokemon to train sometimes, but she had heard that if she planted the seeds she bought around the area, something may happen.

So, she thought about doing so while she did some training, perhaps also while catching another Pokemon.

The seeds were stowed away in little bag, sitting in her pocket as she and Finn entered, looking around the area.

The NUZLEAF caught her attention. Usually, dark types like it weren't what caught her eye. Nor did she sense anything too special about the type in general.

But there was some sort of spunk to this one, some attitude deep down. Jessie could appreciate that.

"Perhaps he'd be a great asset to the team one day. What do you think, Finn?"

The Delphox gave a grunting noise in return. So, with Jessie at the lead, she commanded a FIRE BLAST to be sent to the NUZLEAF rendering him relatively useless and hurt so she could toss her Poke ball.
